RhinoBond UV Products Advantage

RhinoBond UV Compounds are single component, room temperature cured adhesives which do not react until exposed to UV light. Products give an instant controllable cure, requiring no clamping. RhinoBond UV compounds are solvent free and 100% reactive with good chemical, humidity and thermal shock resistance. RhinoBond UV materials exhibit excellent adhesionn to themajority of industrial surfaces including glass. A wide range of formulations is available with specific performance characteristics including defined refractive index, low electrical resistivity, high strength, toughness, flexibility as well as resistance to heat, solvents, corrosion and abrasion.

RhinoBond UV Front Line Range

The chemistry of UV polymerization involves the formation of highly crosslinked polymer chains by reacting photoinitiatiors within the porduct to UV light of 200-400 nm wavelength. Typical intensities used are 10 mW/cm2. Custom formulations to meet specialized applications are available on request.

RhinoBond 02 UV
2500 - 4000 cPs, fast curing adhesive for high strength bonding of glass to metal and sealing and coating of emblems.

RhinoBond 16 UV
Extremely fast, 50 - 100 cPs, flash curing product designed for instant temporaary fixing. Fixtures in less than 2 seconds.

RhinoBond 50 UV
High shear strength on gless to metal, up to 2250 psi (16 N/mm2). High viscosity 7000 cPs. Used for lead crystal and general glass bonding.

RhinoBond 56 UV
2000 cPs product for bonding and potting loudspeakers and electronic components. Dry to touch finish. Excellent humidity and thermal shock resistance.

RhinoBond 62 UV
Tough, flexible polymer with dry to touch surface finish. Refractive index of 1.5. Typical applications include badge glazing.

RhinoBond 70 UV
Clear flexible coating. Cures at light of 300 - 400nm wavelength. Product is typically used for glazing and photo on the plate applications.

RhinoBond 85 UV
Medium viscosity, general purpose, UV for potting and coating.
