RhinoBond Performance Cyanoacrylates Adhesives

RhinoBond offers state of the art cyanoacrylate technology. RhinoTech high performance instant adhesives are produced in one of the largest and most advanced plants for cyanoacrylate synthesis in the world. RhinoTech cyanoacrylates have been formulated to bond a wide range of similar and dissimilar substrates. RhinoTech cyanoacrylate adhesives are the first choice of production and design engineers for their speed, strength and versatility of application.

RhinoBond cyanoacrylates cure in seconds and give high strength bonds on rubber, plastics, metal, wood, leather, ceramics, ferrites, stone, cork, glass and paper. No clamping is required. Tensile strengths of up to 5000 psi, (35 N/mm2) are obtained and RhinoBond Adhesives exhibits exceptional solvent and weather resistance. They are mono-component systems requiring no mixing or heating. As they do not contain solvents, bond shrinkage is negligible. The application of RhinoTech cyanoacrylate adhesives can easily be automated for high efficiency production line use.

These select RBA Adhesives are designed for general industrial, maintenance, repair and overhaul applications. These products meet MIL A 46050C requirements and are available in a range of viscosities.

RBA 5
Extra low viscosity, ethyl based cyanoacrylate designed to penetrate by capillary action between pre-assembled components. Exhibits super fast cure.

RBA 20
Low viscosity, 20 cPs ethyl based formulation for closely fitting parts. Bonds instantly on contact with good wicking and penetrating ability.

RBA 40
A general purpose 40 cPs ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive. Cures instantly on rubber, plastics and many other materials. Fills gaps of .004" (.1mm)

RBA 120
Medium viscosity, 100 cPs grade for general purpose bonding including rubbers and plastics. Fills gaps up to .006" (.15mm)

RBA 600
Ethyl cyanoacrylate with moderate gap filling capability. Higher, 600 cPs, viscosity reduces migration of product from the bond area.

RBA 900
High viscosity adhesive for bonding porous materials or applications where gap filling is required . Slower cure speed facilitates positioning of parts. May be fillet cured with RhinoBond Activators and Primers.

RBA 2500
This extra high viscosity (2500 cPs) ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive is formulated to bond to porous surfaces. Fills gaps of .008" (.2mm). Slow curing formulation allows maximum time for aligning substrates.

RBA GellCD
Thixotropic gel formulation for maximum gap filling up to .01" (.25mm). Can be applied on to vertical and porous surfaces. Product will not migrate or slump out of the joint and can be cured with an activator.

Priming Accelerators

RhinoTech Primers are used to enhance and accelerate the cure speed of cyanoacrylate adhesives. Used in many assembly applications.

RhinoTech Primers permit fast, efficient bonds in a high speed production environment. The cure mechanism is very simple. Adhesive is applied to one substrate and the primer is sprayed or brushed onto the other substrate. Curing immediately occurs when the two parts are joined.

RBP 1000
General purpose, heptane based, can be used with all RhinoTech cyanoacrylates.

RBP 1200
RBP 1200 is a non-hazardous priming accelerator that can be shipped anywhere in the world. This Primer is water soluable and helps to ensure the safety of all those who come in contact with it. It is available in 8oz. pump sprayers and gallon containers.

RBP 1200A
This product is the same as the above, however, it is available in a 12oz. aerosol.

RBP 1500
Acetone based, also for use with all RhinoTech cyanoacrylates.

RBP 1500A
Acetone based, in aerosol form.

Debonder/Remover

RBA 2000
Used to remove cured cyanoacrylate adhesive from fingers, substrates, or any accidental spillage. Safe, non-hazardous solvent.

RhinoBond Epoxies

RhinoBond epoxies are available as single and two component, one to one mix ratio systems that exhibit exceptional gap filling characteristics. They can be machined. tapped and drilled. Rhino Bond epoxies possess superior tensile shear strength, impact strength and chemical resistance.

RhinoBond epoxy resin, when mixed with the hardening agent causes a non reversible chemical reaction which produces a solid, cross-linked, high molecular weight polymer that provides tough, insoluble bonds with good adhesion to a variety of substrates. Because of the unique combination of properties founnd in Rhino Bond epoxies, they are used in a wide variety of industries from construction and automotive to high tech electronics assembly.

RhinoBond 13 EPX
RAPID EPOXY. Fast curing two part system. Sets in 4-5 minutes at room temperature. Designed for structural bonding of metals, ceramics, glass, wood, rubber and certain plastics.

RhinoBond 19 EPX
STEEL FILLED EPOXY. Two part steel filled epozy with high compressive strength. Bonds metals, concrete and masonry and can be machined to close tolerances. Withstands temperatures up to 250°F (125°C).

RhinoBond 20 EPX
HIGH STRENGTH EPOXY. Two part toughened epoxy with extended 30 minute working time. EP20 exhibits high tensile and shear strength. It has gap filling capability and is suitable for bonding rough surfaces.

RhinoBond 25 EPX
SINGLE COMPONENT EPOXY. Single component, heat curing adhesive used in the electrical and electronics industry as well as automotive applications.

RhinoBond 25 EPX
EPOXY COATING. Two part, low viscosity, easy-mix epoxy designed for general purpose bonding of large surface areas. Can be used as a tough chemically resistant protective coating.
